Tree Planting Day at Angata
Police Station Very
Successful!
Let's conserve our environment, together
we protect our mother earth.
Kenyan National Republic Day (Jamhuri day
12/12/21 ) was celebrated in style at Angata DO'S
office where Chiefs, ASTU police officers and the
Chake Conservancy team planted trees to
celebrate 2021 jamhuri day!
This is one of the most important national holidays
in Kenya, observed on December 12, it celebrates
the date of the country’s admittance in 1964 into
the Commonwealth as a republic and takes its
name from the Swahili word jamhuri (“republic”);
Kenya obtained its independence from Great
Britain on Dec. 12th 1963.
In addition to planting, we talked a lot on the
importance of trees, how to protect our wildlife,
how to report cases of human wildlife conflicts,
poaching and general security as we end the year.
We at Chake conservancy are very proud to be
associated with our administrators and police
officers.
We shall work more together to make our country
green!

The tree planting event at Lolgorian police station on
December 29th was very successful. We managed to
plant 200 trees and rain helped water the saplings.
We're happy that our police officers headed by the OCS
Mr. Mwangangi joined us, the Olepoipoi chief, Kws
community scouts from Angata and Masurura joined
the Chake conservancy team.
Thanks for your cooperation and support.

Our tree planting day at KILETIEN primary school which was
done on 02/03/2022 was very successful.
We managed to plant one hundred indigenous trees. This
event was made successful by the senior teacher Mr Peter
Sang in collaboration with Chake conservancy team.
Let's all conserve our environment. We feel happy to be under
the shade when its hot, we breathe fresh air from our trees etc.

The greening schools program is still ongoing! Today the
7th March 2022 Chake conservancy team moved to
Oloshur primary school at Nyakweri region to plant
trees.
Our aim is to conserve our environment, keep the
environment green, teach our young ones about wildlife
and wildlife clubs and create awareness to the
community on the importance of protecting fauna and
flora. Help us do more.
Chake is still at your service to protect our Kenyan
environment.
