What if the community passed on essential knowledge to new generations? Environmental education is an important part of Chake Conservancy’s mission. We have also introduced environmental clubs in schools to train youth on matters of conservation, wildlife protection and planting trees within the school compound. This contributes to sustainable development goals: 6. Clean Water And Sanitation, 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities,13 Climate Action and 15 Life On Land. We also work with schools and others to disseminate information about avoiding HIV AIDS, we advocate for female rights and the importance of continuing education, also for the avoidance of teenage pregnancy and the cessation of Female Genital Mutilation. This contributes to sustainable development goals: 6. Sanitation, 4. Quality Education, 5. Gender Equality, 10 Reduced Inequalities and 11 Sustainable communities.
